HYDERABAD: Mr Chandra Pratap Singh has taken over as the new Executive Director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) Hyderabad on Saturday.

In a press release here on Sunday, BHEL said Mr Singh, known for his expertise in power generating and transmission equipment, was a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University and joined the Bhopal unit of BHEL in 1970 as Engineer trainee.
