APIIC takes up road widening

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has announced that it has embarked on a 1.2-kilometre road-widening project from Cyber Tower to SoftSol at Hitec City here.

In a press release, K. Raheja IT Park (Hyderabad) Pvt Ltd, which is building a 110-acre business ecosystem project called ` Mindspace Hyderabad' in a joint venture with APIIC, said the road widening would be completed by July-end.

The road-widening project has been taken up in association with the municipalities of Kukatpally, Sherilingampally and Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH).

The work has been carried out at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore, for which Kukatpally and Sherilingampally municipalities have contributed Rs 29 lakh each, while MCH gave Rs 20 lakh. The balance will be borne in by APIIC.
