DR Prathap C. Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Hospitals Group, has won the Asia-Pacific BioBusiness Leadership Award 2005 given by Marshall School of Business of University of Southern California.

Dr Reddy won the award for his efforts to "revolutionise modern healthcare delivery in South Asia", an Apollo Hospitals press release said here on Tuesday.

"Dr Reddy is bringing world-class healthcare and the benefits of advanced technologies within the economic and geographic reach of millions of patients for the first time," the release said quoting Mr Carl Feldbaum, Chairman of the selection committee for the award.
