Meet on mechanical engg at Coimbatore

Coimbatore , March 30

A two-day national conference on the `Latest trends in mechanical engineering' is being organised by the Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology on April 1 and 2.

The Executive Vice-President of L&T, Mr K. Surendra, will inaugurate the conference and deliver an address on technology. Mr A.V. Nandakumar, Senior Vice-President (Production Engineering), Sundaram Clayton, is to deliver the valedictory address on lean manufacturing on the second day.

Over 100 papers are expected to be presented during the conference.
