New Products & Services SMS from PC to mobile Sudhanshu Ranade
CHENNAI: Yahoo Mobile India has launched a `product' that allows you to send free SMS messages from your computer to mobile phones in any one of 13 different countries ranging from Argentina to the US. India is included in the list, and the facility can be used to send messages to mobile users connected to Aircel Chennai, AirTel, Escotel Hutch, Idea Cellular, Oasis Cellular, Orange Mumbai, and Spice Punjab and Karnataka. To continue receiving SMS from you, the mobile user simply needs to reply to at least one of three SMS sent by you from your Yahoo messenger. Yahoo adds that some wireless carriers levy charges on recipients of SMS messages.
