Students to take part in post-Budget panel discussion

Chennai , March 21

THE BL Club, a forum for industry-academia interface in management schools, in association with St Joseph's College of Engineering, Department of Management, will host a post-Budget panel discussion on Tuesday for students of various Chennai-based management schools.

Around 300 management students from St Joseph's College and other schools will take part in the discussion to be addressed by Mr R. Bupathy, Past President, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, who will make a presentation on direct and indirect tax proposals.

Mr R. Anand, Vice-President, Corporate Affairs, Sundaram Finance Ltd, will give a corporate perspective on the Budget and its implications.

Mr D. Sampath Kumar, Associate Editor, Business Line, will participate in the discussion with the students.

The Sholinganallur-based St Joseph's College, the host of the event, has invited students of several city-based management schools to participate in the post-Budget discussion.
