New head for LifeStyle retail chain

Chennai, March 18

RETAIL chain, LifeStyle International, is going to have a new business head from April 1. According to a press release issued by the company, Mr G. Sankar, who is currently the MD of Tesco India Sourcing (South Asia), would be taking over as Managing Director of LifeStyle International from Mr Kumar Sitaraman.

Mr Sitraman, according to the press release, would be immigrating to Canada.

Said Mr Sankar about his new assignment, "LifeStyle has been a trendsetter of sorts in the Indian retail industry. It has used its international experience and expertise to redefine the retail environment in India and I am looking to not just accelerating LifeStyle's growth, but in doing so, to also reach new heights of customer delight."
