Consumer Rights Day observed

MANGALORE: Nexus, the marketing forum of Srinivas College of P.G. Management Studies, Mangalore, observed the World Consumer Rights Day on March 15.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr G.K. Rajanna, Deputy Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Dakshina Kannada district, said that consumers should be aware of the gravity of the problems surrounding them. He stressed the need for legislation to tackle the problems of consumers.

Mr A. Srinivas Rao, President of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mr M.P. Ganesh, Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology, Mangalore, were present on the occasion.
