People Chief Controller of Chartering quits Our Bureau
New Delhi , March 6 THE Chief Controller of Chartering in the Ministry of Shipping, Mr T.V. Shanbhag, has quit Government service to join the private sector. Mr Shanbhag has been heading Transchart, the centralised chartering wing attached to the Shipping Ministry, for close to 10 years. When contacted, Mr Shanbhag confirmed that he has resigned from Government service and his resignation has been accepted by the Government. He will be relieved of his duties with effect from April 1.
