HYDERABAD: Marking its first anniversary in Hyderabad, SriLankan Airlines has organised a ten-day food festival, which began on February 25.

Hotel Taj Krishna, a Taj-GVK venture, has teamed up with the Lankan airline to organise the festival. SriLankan has roped in expert chefs from the Taj Samudra, Colombo, to offer ethnic Lanka cuisine and desserts. A dance troupe has also been brought in.

"They will perform dances based on Kandyan, Kathakali and Manupuri styles," Mr Lal Talgaswatte, Regional Manager (Western and Central India) of SriLankan, told a gathering at the launch of the festival.
