ECGC, IOB in pact

EXPORT Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd (ECGC) has signed its 11th Corporate Agency Agreement with Indian Overseas Bank in Chennai to market export credit insurance products through the network of the bank's branches.

The agreement was signed by Mr S. Prabhakaran, Executive Director of ECGC, and Mr A.R. Nagappan, Executive Director of IOB.

ECGC's new products for exporters include the Consignment Exports (stock holding agent) Policy, Global Entity Policy, Buyer Exposure Policy, Multiple Buyer Exposure Policy, Software Projects Policy and IT-enabled Service Policy for single and multiple buyers.

Under this agreement, it will be possible for both the institutions to provide exporters with credit facilities.
