Sonata expands centre in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Sonata Software Ltd., an IT consulting and software services provider, on Thursday announced the expansion of its Microsoft Competency Centre (MCC) to its latest facility at Hyderabad where it plans to add another 300 key Microsoft-skilled resources in next few months.

Sonata's MCC develops vertical frameworks on Microsoft Business Solutions — MS Axapta and MS CRM, analytics based on business intelligence and solutions based on emerging technologies such as Yukon and Whidbey.

Mr Jnan Dash, an executive consultant and serving on board of several Silicon Valley-based companies, has been inducted the Chief Technology Officer to give fillip to Sonata's tech strategy.

The President and Managing Director of Sonata Software, Mr B. Ramaswamy, in a statement said "the Hyderabad facility will serve as a powerhouse to fuel further our Microsoft-based initiatives. And having Mr Dash on board will help channelise these efforts to deliver enhanced business value to clients."
