Sybly bags yarn export order

MUMBAI: Sybly Industries Ltd, manufacturer of polyester yarn and mercerised cotton yarn, has received a $1.2-million (Rs 5.4 crore) order for the supply of dyed and grey polyester/PV yarn to Turkey.

According to a company press release, the company, which went into a backward integration project for spinning cotton yarn and has an annual capacity of 1,125 tonnes of cord yarn, plans expand and modernise its textile unit at Muradnagar in Ghaziabad.

This will increase output by 25 per cent or 780 tonnes per annum and is expected to reduce the cost of production by 20 per cent.

The company also plans to double its number of spindles. The orders for the machines have been placed with Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd, Coimbatore.

Sybly has a capacity of 15,336 spindles and a production capacity of 3,140 tonnes of polyester yarn and 660 tonnes of mercerised cotton yarn running at optimum levels.
