Special train between Nagercoil and Chennai to clear rush

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway will run a special train between Nagercoil and Chennai Egmore on Monday to clear extra passenger traffic between the two destinations.

According to an official spokesman, the 612 Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Special will leave Nagercoil at 3.30 p.m. on Monday to reach Chennai Egmore at 7.30 a.m. the next day.

The train will run via Madurai, Tiruchi and Villupuram. It will have stoppages at Tirunelveli, Vanchhi-Maniyachhi, Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudunagar, Madurai Junction, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Tiruchchirapalli, Vridhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam.
