Events NMPT celebrates Republic Day Our Bureau
MANGALORE: The Chairman of New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT), Mr P.T. Vanan, lauded the efforts of late U. Srinivas Mallya, the architect of New Mangalore Port, at the Republic Day celebration at NMPT stadium in Mangalore recently. A port press release said here on Friday that Mr Vanan inspected the parade taken out by the members of Central Industrial Security Force, Port Fire Service and NCC. Mr Vanan, who complemented the port users, employees and service providers for their service, sought their cooperation for taking the port to greater heights, the release added.
