Water Water levels decline at major reservoirs in Kerala Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water levels at the three major reservoirs in the State - Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada - recorded a slight decline compared with those obtained last week. According to figures released by the Central Water Commission, the level declined from 2357.82 ft to 2355.14 ft at Idukki; 496.10 ft to 492.91 ft at Idamalayar; and 364.50 ft to 363.62 ft at Kallada. However, year-on-year readings revealed healthier levels at all three with Idukki looking up by 18.74 ft; Idamalayar by 10.23 ft; and Kallada by 4.63 ft.
