Genesis holding in Andhra Bank crosses 5 pc

Mumbai , Jan. 25

ANDHRA Bank has informed the stock exchanges that Genesis Indian Investment Company Ltd has acquired 1,252,689 shares, aggregating to 0.31 per cent of the bank's equity.

The mode of acquisition was by way of market purchase.

The shareholding of Genesis Indian Investment after the said acquisition in Andhra Bank now stands at 20,742,083 shares, (at 5.18 per cent).
