CFL lamp launched in Kerala market

KOCHI: Indo Asian Fusegear Ltd, a leading electrical switchgear manufacturing company, introduced a mini CFL lamp (compact fluorescent lamp) in the Kerala market on Saturday.

The product named Ginni CFL is priced at Rs 35 and provides light equivalent to 20 watts.

It consumes hardly one unit of power in a year, said Mr Vivek Mahendru, President, Indo Asian Fusegear Ltd. The CFL has an assured life of five years as per latest BIS specifications, he said. Kerala has been selected for the initial launch, considering the good business response from the State in the last few years.
