A trial run of a spectacular laser show under way at Lumbini Park on the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad. The hi-tech show of 30-minute duration will begin on January 24 as part of the Buddha Purnima project. The Rs 13-crore project of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority is conducted in association with a German company, Laserland Gmbh. The park has a capacity for 2,000 spectators, who will be charged Rs 25 each. A combined show of a musical fountain and laser beams will display the culture and heritage of the city.
