Srikkanth to endorse Aurofood's VitaMilk biscuit

AUROFOOD, the Rs 100-crore manufacturer of the True brand of biscuits and vermicelli and Jokes wafers, has signed on former Indian cricket captain and commentator K. Srikkanth as brand ambassador for VitaMilk, its new premium milk biscuit.

According to a press release, of the 30,000 tonnes of milk biscuits sold in India, Tamil Nadu accounts for 70 per cent (Rs 150 crore).

The company is confident of getting a 10 per cent share of the market, it adds.

VitaMilk is available in 150 gm and 75 gm packs priced at Rs 10 and Rs 5.

A family pack and VitaMilk Cream are among the line extensions to follow, the press release says.
