Japanese art form presentation in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of an Indo-Japanese exchange programme for traditional performing arts, performances of the Japanese art forms Noh and Kamigata-mai will be staged in the city from December 27 to December 29.

On December 26, there will be exchanges between the Japanese artists and Kutiyattam performers from Kerala, followed by a Kutiyattam performance in the evening. Lecture-demonstrations by Noh and Kamigata-mai performers will also be held as part of the programme.
