Elected to FIEO board

MANGALORE: Mr Walter D'Souza, a Mangalore-based exporter, has been elected to the national board of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) under the Union Ministry of Commerce.

A press release by the FIEO Karnataka chapter said here on Thursday that he would be formally inducted to the board at the 39th annual general meeting to be held in New Delhi on December 29. His term of office will be three years. Mr D'Souza is the Chairman of the Exim Committee of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the release added.
