Thiruvananthapuram Rly Division wins trophy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram Division of Southern Railway has won the Rajbhasha trophy for the second best efforts of a Central Government establishment in promoting the use of Hindi as an official language.

A Southern Railway spokesman said here that the Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Ms Sujatha Jayaraj, received the award from the Kerala University Vice-Chancellor, Dr M. K. Ramachandran Nair, at the valedictory function of the Joint Hindi Fortnight Celebrations organised by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee.
