SANTI Arts Hi-tech Medias Ltd, a Guntur-based screen printing company, will soon set up a Rs 5-crore unit to scale up production of painting replicas and publicity material.
The Rs 10-crore group, which found an interesting business proposition in replicating ethnic paintings using screen-printing technology, has decided to focus more on corporate clients.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Mr Siddharth Jain, Director (Marketing), said the new four-acre facility near Guntur would be operational in two months.
The company had recently won six Golden Awards in a global competition organised by Speciality Graphic Imaging Association in the US.
There were 930 entries in 42 product categories.
Stating that 90 per cent of its sales came from corporate clients, Mr G.S. Murthy, Vice-President (Client Servicing and Marketing), said the company outsourced paintings from local artistes, besides generating them from in-house pool of artistes.
