COIMBATORE: Coimbatore-based Sasi Advertising has been awarded the Bronze Certificate of Merit in the Press Campaign (English) Corporate category by the Advertising Club, Bangalore.

The campaign was a five-ad series depicting the corporate personality of the dashboard instruments major, Pricol Ltd, Coimbatore.

Mr S. Rajmohan, a representative of Sasi Advertising, received the award from Mr D.B. Dutta, General Manager, Deccan Herald Group of publications.

The agency, in June 2004, won two national awards from Radio and Advertising Practitioners Association of India Ltd, Mumbai, for excellence in radio spots in Tamil for the year 2003-one for AIDS awareness advertisement and another for IOC's `Diesel Super' ad, according to a release from Sasi Advertising.
