SPIC bags eco award

MADURAI: Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Ltd (SPIC) at Tuticorin has bagged the Environmental Protection Award for 2003-04, awarded by the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI).

The SPIC Vice-President, Mr R. Muthumanoharan, received the award from the Union Minister, Mr Ram Vilas Paswan, at a function in Delhi recently, the sources said.
