MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank Ltd opened its 372nd branch at Thakur Village in Kandivli (E) of Mumbai on Friday. This is the 16th branch of the bank in Mumbai.

A press release said here on Saturday that Mr V.K. Singh, Chairman of Thakur Educational Group, inaugurated the branch. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr Anantakrishna, was present on the occasion.

The bank is planning to take the total number of branches to 390 by the end of the current financial year. The bank has networked more than 240 branches with the core banking solution, Finacle.
