New Products & Services Jobstreet.com new service for subscribers Our Bureau
Bangalore , Dec. 8 JOBSTREET.com India, the online recruitment firm, has added career advice to its range of services to subscribers. Launched on Monday last, this new service allows a subscriber to ask any career-related query, which will be answered by a panel of experts. Speaking to Business Line, Mr N. Muralidharan, Managing Director and Vice-President, Jobstreet.com, India said, "Generally career counselling is an expensive proposition for the job seeker community. But in this case, we wanted to make it an affordable and a value-added service." To answer job-related queries, the portal has roped in two HR practitioners on its panel of experts, along with Mr Muralidharan. At present, a query gets answered within 48 hours, according to Mr Muralidharan. "But once we scale up, we'll have to think of adding more panellists and possibly even have a face-to-face interaction with the candidates," he said. The counselling service is being sold in three different price packages: Rs 200 for junior executives (0-4 years of work experience), Rs 300 for senior executives (5-8 years of work experience) and Rs 500 for managers with more than nine years of work experience). "There is no limit to the number of words, but the payment is for one-time query," clarified Mr Muralidharan.
