Auditing ICAI to provide support to Nepal counterpart Our Bureau
New Delhi , Dec. 8 THE Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) would extend support to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) in a host of areas including the establishment of a peer review mechanism and launch of the Information System Audit Course in Nepal. This was decided during the two-day discussions held between the ICAN delegation that visited New Delhi and the senior officials of ICAI. Besides evolving a framework for continuing professional education (CPE), ICAI would also prepare a vision document for ICAN for the next five years, ICAI Secretary, Dr Ashok Haldea, told newspersons here. ICAN is less than a decade old and has about 300 members.
