Announcements GAIL to offer energy management services for Bangladesh cos Our Bureau
Mumbai , Dec. 8 GAIL (India) Ltd will offer Energy Management Services to industries in Bangladesh. A company delegation visited Bangladesh last week to discuss cooperation and participation in areas such as pipelines, gas processing and CNG with some of the country's State and private firms, a news release said on Tuesday. The delegation met Bangladesh's Energy Minister Mr A.K.M. Mosharraf Hossain. The Minister invited GAIL to share its experience with the Energy Regulatory Authority, Bangladesh. The company has held talks with Bangladesh State energy firms such as Petrobangla, Gas Transmission Company Ltd (GTCL), Titas Gas, RPGCL, major gas consumers and others. GAIL plans to provide energy management services to the gas users of Bangladesh on cost sharing basis, the release said.
