The Hindu Business Line : Snecma bags Air Sahara contract

BANGALORE: Snecma Services has signed with Air Sahara an exclusive five-year CFM56-3 time-and-material contract. This contract also includes fleet management and spare engines support. Air Sahara operates 5 Boeing 737-300/400 twinjets powered by CFM56-3 B2/C1 engines.

Air Sahara flies mainly to domestic routes and has started flying to Kathmandu and Colombo. Snecma Services provides a full line of aero-engine support services to both airlines and armed forces, including engine maintenance on site, technical assistance, repair solutions, engine and parts repair, engineering support, tooling, fleet monitoring, technical publications, test cell calibration, engine leasing and staff training. It operates three sites in France and has a Belgian subsidiary, Snecma Services Brussels.
