Hyderabad , Dec. 1

BOSE Corporation has expanded its operations in South India with the launch of its first retail outlet in Hyderabad.

Announcing the launch of `The Bose Store' on Wednesday, Mr Ratish Pandey, General Manager, Bose Corporation India Private Ltd, said the outlet would offer products for the home segment.

The store would showcase the entire range of Bose home products such as Bose Lifestyle systems, wave systems, speakers, headphones and multimedia. It would also give the customer a real experience of the products, he told newspersons today.

The company also has a full-fledged service centre to support the retail operations in Hyderabad. So far, it has been offering complete turnkey audio, video and control system solutions for offices, auditoriums, shopping malls and hotels, he said.

Starting from New Delhi in 1998, Bose Corporation has set up a network of outlets in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai and now in Hyderabad. To support these outlets, a centralised customer support centre has also been established, Mr Pandey said.

Bose Corporation, founded in 1964 by Dr Amar G. Bose, is a $1.6-billion, privately-owned company with 7,000 employees, 18 subsidiaries, 8 manufacturing facilities.
