Reliance scrips too make gains

SHARES of Reliance group companies also managed to turn around on Monday after the hammering of the previous week.

Brokers attribute this to value buying. Market is also speculating that the promoters of Reliance group companies may also be providing buying support in these scrips.

Reliance Industries Ltd gained Rs 6.25 to end the day's trade at Rs 509.80. Reliance Energy, also gained Rs 6.20 to close at Rs 555.30.

Reliance Capital touched a high of Rs 139.2, before closing at Rs 137.25, up by Re 1 from Thursday's close. Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd also appreciated by Rs 1.40 and closed at Rs 74.55. "There may be further twists and turns to Reliance, the stock movements would be unpredictable," said Mr Ramesh Damani, a BSE broker.
