HYDERABAD: A two-day summit on `Exploiting RFID for RoI', is being organised in Hyderabad during December 2-3, by Vibrant Tech Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.

Experts from companies such as Satyam, Bartronics, Cognizant Technologies, Gemini Communications, Ashok Leyland and TCS would share their knowledge and utility of RFID technology, according to a company press release.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an e-tagging technology that provides businesses an opportunity to add electronic identities to any product, inventory or asset. These RFID tags store data, which can be remotely accessed. This allows integration with the Information Technology system and easy operations.

Companies, which seek highest standards in supply chain management, logistics and transportation security have started using the technology to ensure maximum RoI (Return on Investment). The Summit would see presentation of case studies by some of the companies, Mr V. Kumar, Director of Vibrant said in a press release.
