SBT multi-lingual Web site

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has inked a pact with the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) to host and maintain the bank's Web site in Malayalam and Hindi languages.

An SBT spokesman said here that the bank would be the first to launch a Malayalam version of its Web site. Mr R.G. Gadkari, General Manager (Planning and Development), signed the MoU along with Mr K. Asok Kumar, Registrar of C-DIT, at the SBT headquarters here on Tuesday. The new language Web sites will be up and running within a period of eight weeks, the spokesman added.
