Real Estate & Construction Raheja Corpn bags mandate for AP IT park, gets land Our Bureau
Hyderabad , Nov. 21 K. RAHEJA Corporation, the Mumbai-based integrated property developer, has bagged the mandate for an IT park proposed by the Andhra Pradesh Housing Board (APHB) in the public-private partnership model amid stiff competition. Following this development, APHB will allot 106 acres at Pocharam village adjacent the Singapore township coming up near the city. This will have facility to host about 25,000 persons and the park is expected to complement both the Singapore township and the IT infrastructure of the city. APHB selected Raheja Corporation through a bidding process for setting up the park in the Singapore city and sent the proposal for approval to the State Government. The Government has accorded approval to the company being chosen as the bidder. Raheja Corporation is currently engaged in development of a major technology campus adjacent the Hitec City in Madhapur. It has been developing built to suit properties for various IT companies. Bank of America through its associate Continuum, and Qualcomm are among the companies that have chosen to locate their centres at Raheja Mindspace. When completed, Raheja Mindspace would see total investment of about Rs 1,200 crore in infrastructure spread across over 110 acres.
