Varun Shipping gets 7th LPG carrier

MUMBAI: Varun Shipping has acquired its seventh LPG carrier, Maharishi Labhatreya, taking its fleet strength to 13.

According to an official statement, the vessel, acquired on November 13, has a cargo carrying capacity of 43,670 cbm. The acquisition was financed partly out of its own resources and partly with long-term loans from Bank of India and Union Bank of India, the statement added.
