American Consul-General (Kolkata) George N. Sibley sings with his wife and opera singer, Lee-Alison Sibley, during a rehearsal with Odissi danseuse Sanchita Bhattacharya (third from left) and her troupe for their upcoming show `Two Worlds Into One in Peace,' in Kolkata on Tuesday. Lee-Alison Sibley will sing poet Rabindranath Tagore's songs in the opera style during the performance, to be held on November 26. The guiding force for this experiment is Tagore's work, which declares that it is art that transcends all barriers, so that mankind can proclaim the triumph of peace and love.
