Wipro, Quantum expand ties

BANGALORE: Wipro Technologies has entered into an agreement with Quantum Corp, vendor of storage solutions, to provide engineering and software design services to augment Quantum's internal storage systems resources.

Wipro will share its expertise in developing feature enhancements, enabling Quantum to gain efficiencies through round-the-clock development and to continue bringing customer-driven innovation to its products, Wipro said in a press release.

The agreement extends an ongoing relationship between the two companies, whereby, Wipro has offered high-end storage solutions in India for the past four years using Quantum products.

"We are excited to extend our relationship with Quantum into the engineering services space," said Mr Divakaran Mangalath, CTO of Wipro Technologies.
