Gillette takes a swipe at fakes

GILLETTE India Ltd (GIL), along with the Weights and Measures Department, Noida Legal Metrology, raided marketers of grey Gillette products that were being sold without proper requisite packaging declarations.

The raids were conducted by Mr M.K. Upadhyay, Inspector (Legal Metrology) on 10 outlets in Noida and challans will be issued to these outlets for violating the Packaged Commodity Rule, 1977, the company said in a statement here.
