United Bank CMD resumes work

THE CMD of United Bank of India, Mr Parkash Singh, resumed work today after nearly three weeks. Mr Singh was admitted to a local nursing home on October 11 after he complained of chest pain.

The day prior to being admitted, CBI officials had raided his office and flat and had registered a case against him for wrongful alleged acceptance of money from a Kerala-based automobile dealer.
