CHENNAI: With the recent launch of `TVS Star', the product portfolio of TVS Motor Company is "complete" and the next two quarters will be a "period of consolidation" for the company, says a press release from TVS Motor.

TVS Motor Company has begun to see a pick up in motorcycle sales, after a drop in the first two quarters of the current year. In October, the company sold 74,683 motorcycles compared with 61,777 in the same month last year. The company attributes the rise in sales to the success of TVS Victor.

The total two-wheeler vehicles sold during October 2004 was 1,17,696 units compared to 1,04,308 units sold last year during the same period registering a growth of 13 per cent.
