TTP hands in dividend

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The public sector Travancore Titanium Products Ltd (TTP) has handed over to the State Government a 30 per cent dividend payable for year 2003-04.

Announcing this, an official spokesman said here that the company had consistently been paying a dividend to the Government since 1957.

Mr K. Mohandas, Chairman, TTP, who is also the Principal Secretary, Industries, handed over the dividend to Mr P. K. Kunhalikkutty, Minister for Industries. The company was also proceeding ahead with steps to set up a pollution control mechanism in line with a directive from the High Court, the spokesman added.
