Panacea Biotec sales up 172 pc

PANACEA Biotec has recorded net sales of Rs 78.30 crore, a growth of 172 per cent compared to previous year's second quarter net sales of Rs 28.76 crore.

Net profit after providing for appropriations and tax, stood at Rs 11.10 crore .

For the half-year ended September 30, revenues were at Rs 179.16 crore and net profit at Rs 19.84 crore.

During the quarter, the company has added 3 new brands to its basket, namely Heartfelt (natural product for Cholesterol management), Nimulid SafeInject (for management of Post Operative Pain) and Willgo (for 24 hour management of Pain, Inflammation and Fever). Nimulid Safeinject and Willgo have been patented by the company worldwide.
