With over 290 companies participating and delegates from 15 foreign countries, the seventh edition of the event will showcase a wide spectrum of the latest in information, communications and media technology through 10 pavilions, according to the organisers, the State Government and STPI.

"Three of the focus pavilions this year include a first-ever dedicated pavilion for animation and games, a pavilion each on digital lifestyle & spectrum and a BPO & career mart,'' said Mr B.V. Naidu, Director, STPI. The event will also see the setting up of the Indian Semiconductor Association (ISA).

Among the foreign countries participating in the event, the major ones are the US, the UK, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Malaysia, Russia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Singapore China, Oman, Taiwan and the Czech Republic.

The major companies participating at this year's event include Microsoft, Intel, AMD, Moser Bear, APC, Reliance, Satyam, Airtel, Hathway, Tata Tele Services, ICICI OneSource, Progeon, Peopleone Consulting, Convergys, 24/7 Customer Asset, Transworks, Iomega Pacific and Animaster.
