Gangotri Textiles unveils premium range of trousers

Mumbai , Oct. 26

GANGOTRI Textiles, the Rs 180-crore spinning and garment company, has unveiled a range of trousers on Tuesday pegged between Rs 695 and Rs 1,295.

According to the company, the product is a quality offering and has been manufactured under stringent quality norms. It is currently being sold in about 450 outlets in the four southern States, and in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. According to Mr Manoj Kumar Tibrewal, Managing Director, Gangotri Textiles Ltd, "With our foray into the premium menswear market, we have reaffirmed our commitment to become a significant player in the market."

The company has also put in motion an expansion plan, and is doubling the capacity of its garment plant next year. In 2005, it will also take its brand national.
