BSNL cuts rates

MANGALORE: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), Dakshina Kannada Telecom District, has announced reduction in charges for dial-up Internet access with effect from October 21.

A BSNL press release said here on Thursday that the charge has been reduced to Rs 9.60 per hour during peak hours (7.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. ) and Rs 4.80 per hour during off-peak hours (10.30 p.m. to 7.30 a.m.). All "Net One" users can get this benefit, the release said.
