Balmer Lawrie posts Rs 5.46-cr net in Q2

KOLKATA: Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd has posted a higher net profit of Rs 5.46 crore during the second quarter ended September 30, 2004, against Rs 2.77 crore in the corresponding period of 2003.

According to a company press release issued here, the income from operations stood at Rs 247.67 crore (Rs 231.04 crore).

During the six months ended September 30, it posted a net profit of Rs 11.97 crore (Rs 6.41 crore).Income from operations stood at Rs 490.54 crore (Rs 455.79 crore).
