Swarovski drive to check fake crystals

IN a bid to check fakes, Swarovski has introduced a Quality Branding Label which certifies that all crystal components used in a product are exclusive and genuine Swarovski crystal. The initiative has been launched worldwide and the label carries the legend "Crystallized with Swarovski."

"The label is a promise of high quality Swarovski Crystal and a guarantee of our global commitment to our customers. We aim that every apparel and accessories designer and brand in the country should use genuine Swarovski crystal components," Country Manager for Swarovski Crystal Component Business, Mr Sanjay Sharma told Business Line here.

He said each Swarovski customer has a unique identification number and this number would be put on tags to help easy identification and prevent duplication.
