Motorised boat cruises in waterbodies like this one in Kandla dam site, Munnar, were a hit till a few years back in Kerala. The operators are not getting as many people nowadays after backwater cruises began to be promoted in a big way. Backwater cruises in tourist boats and `kettuvalloms' are in high demand in southern Kerala.
